Onsite Training Courses
Many of our clients require their staff to be trained onsite for courses such as novice, conversion and refresher plant courses and bespoke on-the-job training schemes. The advantage of using Phoenix Industrial Training is consistency of quality in the delivery.
Bespoke Health & Safety Management
We specialise in working with companies on understanding, planning and delivering their entire staff training needs, from Risk Assessments, Emergency First Aid at work and plant training to supervisor & management courses.
In-House Training Courses
We have a fully equipped indoor training centre situated in the East Midlands and offering practical novice, conversion and refresher plant courses for 1 to 18 students along with classroom courses.
About Us
Phoenix Industrial Training has over two decades of experience delivering accredited operator and instructor training that meets the wide-ranging needs of companies of all types and sizes.
We’ve trained over 20,000 operators nationwide at customer locations and our own UK training centres. From booking courses for a handful of operators to managing training and safety plans for manufacturing, retailing and distribution companies, we fulfil our customers’ requirements by following our Quality, Service and Value model (see below).
In July 2020 we were thrilled to open our newest training centre in Burton on Trent offering a wide range of courses and tuition at a central England location and in 2021 we launched our Franchise pilot.

Our Services
We are available to offer training 24 hours a day, 362 days a year (Excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day).
We offer a wide range of courses throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Our administration and booking team at our Head Office are ready and waiting to answer any questions you might have. Booking is simple and convenient so that your training can be delivered as soon as is required.

Our instructors train on-site for maximum convenience, relevance and to minimise costs. Alternatively you can use one of our quality training centres at the same price.
Phoenix’s training courses cover a wide variety of equipment types from forklift trucks to cranes and mobile elevated work platforms, all of which are fully approved by the leading accrediting bodies for their respective industries.
We also specialise in providing safety management training designed to reduce the risk (and cost) of accidents, including Managing Forklift Operations, IOSH Managing Safely, Plant Supervisors, Manual Handling instructors etc.

Phoenix Training have provided our plant equipment training for many years covering Forklift’s, Electric Overhead Cranes and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms which we use as part of working within the marine engineering sector. I’ve found Phoenix’s courses to be detailed, well run and communicated in a practical way that takes account of our work and working processes so the trainees can apply the information and instruction received to their workplace and environment. More recently we’ve worked with Phoenix to find solutions to more complex refresher training issues involving a very specialist 100 Tonne Mobile Straddle Carrier Boat Hoist. Roger was able to source specifically skilled individuals through his network to meet what was a difficult training requirement on a fairly unique machine. This training was further expanded from operator refresher to include supervision and management requirements, communication, planning, control and workplace segregation of from other work activities. I can recommend the courses I’ve been involved with as an efficient way of ensuring our staff remain trained, competent and safe which can be demonstrated and certified to meet legal obligations.

I find Phoenix to a great company to work with, we have never been disappointed or let down they will go the extra mile to provide what we ask for and work around the times we allocate to them. In recent times we have had Manual handling training course delivered by Roger Howarth who has trained myself to become an approved site Manual handling trainer.
